Minnie's Food Pantry
Eligibility to receive food is determined by the TEXCAP guidelines, which measures a person's need based on their income. Based on availability, provides fresh meats, produce, dairy products and non-perishable items to every family that walks through their doors. Clients must complete a recipient form during their first visit of each calendar year, either in person or online. Open Weds-Sat, 8:30-11:30 AM; closed every 5th Saturday.

Homelessness Help

Samaritan Inn
Offering a no-cost, safe and clean place to live for those experiencing homelessness. Living areas for men, women and families are separate. The inn has a dining room, playroom, computer lab, classrooms, a chapel, a fully-equipped playground, and a kennel for residents' dogs! Three well-balanced meals are served daily. Additional services, including day care and transportation vouchers, are available. Residents attend a variety of classes and meet one-on-one with their professional caseworker to develop an individualized action plan and goals for their success. Residents must submit to a drug test and work their individualized action plan.

Mater Filius
A home for expectant mothers. Offers equal support to women who choose Life for their unborn child. At our house, they don't feel alone anymore. They find security and dignity and discover the rewards of motherhood. Because of the access to care and services, they can enjoy their pregnancy in a warm and inclusive environment.

Allen Community Outreach (ACO)
For qualifying Collin County families, in addition to food assistance ACO provides financial assistance for housing and utilities, medical visits and prescriptions, and higher education. Education, employment, and financial assistance/counseling also available. Families enrolled in the Kids Summer Food program may also receive new school supplies through the Back to School Bash.

Baby Booties Diaper Bank
Diapers and wipes ranging from size newborn to size 6 for families in need helping families until the child's 3rd birthday; no income requirements. Birth certificates MUST be presented at every distribution for each child receiving services and some form of identification for the parent. Clients may request period products with their monthly supply of diapers or receive products through one of the partner agencies in Collin County. 2nd Saturday of each month, 8:00-8:30 AM
