During the coronavirus Covid-19 outbreak, get the groceries you need and support your neighborhood farmers by purchasing online!

Consistently ranked as one of the top farmers markets in Texas, McKinney Farmers Market at Chestnut Square is a market you will want to return to time and time again.

In addition to our variety of vendors offering local, grass fed beef and free range chicken, eggs, and farm fresh produce you'll also find specialty items such as tamales, pastries, teas, ginger beer, jerky and so much more.

Another unique feature to the Chestnut Square Market is the wide selection of arts and crafts vendors who offer everything from locally made goat milk soap, walking sticks, jewelry, candles and more! It's a treasure hunt every week!

Live music, face painting and pony rides are always a treat and available every Saturday.

The Chestnut Square Farmers Market accepts SNAP.

One of the things that makes this market wonderful to shop in the summer is the large shade trees canopying the market.

Rain Policy:
The decision is made by Thursday at 5pm, which gives everyone enough notice on how to prepare (or not). Factors include the percentage of chance of rain, forecasted timing and amount of rain, geographic coverage, and other danger factors such as lightning, thunder & wind. We understand that often the forecast changes after Thursday at 5pm, AND that often the actuality is not what was forecasted. We can only make the decision based on what we know at the time. It's always a difficult call!
