Cozy Up by a Fire
Outdoor Fire Lounge Areas
On one of the cooler evenings in Collin County, you'll find numerous outdoor fire pits roaring where you can just hang together and gaze at the fire.
No purchase is expected of you to sit and enjoy one of these. Let us know if we've missed one.
Boardwalk at Granite Park
Situated on the Boardwalk is a large fire pit with several adirondack chairs situated around it. Enter the Boardwalk past beautifully lit fountains,
then try your skills at the life-size Jenga game, lawn bowling and bean bag toss. When you're ready to eat, there's a handful of restaurants nearby.
The Grotto at Fairview Town Center
At the entrance to the Ipic Theater is a large fireplace as well as an over-sized chess/checkerboard. Comfy lounge chairs surround the fire pit and
nearby restaurants and coffee houses offer refreshments for purchase.
321 Town Place, Fairview
The Grove at The Village at Allen
In the center of the Village at Allen shopping center is a fireplace with lounge chairs. If you do have the kids with you, you could let them play on
their own (if they're old enough) in the nearby caboose, Texas-shaped maze, and playhouses. And because you're in the center of a shopping center,
there are plenty of nearby restaurants for either a quick bite or to enjoy a quiet meal. It is located right outside ThaiBOX.
190 E. Stacy Road, Allen
Just outside the entrance to Whole Foods is a large fire pit with lounge chairs. This is a wonderful option if either of you are on a restricted diet
or focusing on eating healthy, because you can eat inside Whole Foods or bring your snack outside.
190 E. Stacy Road, Allen
Taste Your Way through a Shopping Center
Of course, the purpose for sampling is to purchase and we're not advising you to abuse your gracious hosts, but this is a fun way to spend an evening.
High-end grocers (Market Street
Allen, Frisco and McKinney; Central Market
in Plano; Whole Foods
in Fairview) and shopping centers are perfect for this. So is Eatzie's Market & Bakery
Here's how it works: rather than going out to a restaurant for a heavy meal, walk through your favorite grocer or shopping center and purchase a
small bite at each location. See how many "countries" you can experience in one evening!
Stroll a Destination Center
Okay, so we coined the term in a new usage. We define these as a place you could go for the evening and spend hours hanging out as well as eating.
These are way cooler than your average mall.
The Boardwalk at Granite Park, Plano
What this location misses in size, it makes up for in ambiance. It's kid welcoming with a variety of outdoor games, a large fire pit, and a mix
of restaurants from the family-friendly priced to the higher end--all created for the foodie looking for something out of the ordinary. Without a
doubt, it's the boardwalk itself that makes this a fun place to visit. The location is actually at the border of Frisco/Plano.
8200 Dallas Pkwy, Plano
Legacy West, Plano
This center, while offering the family-friendly Shake Shack, is geared to adults looking for that foodie experience. The long-anticipated Legacy Hall

with a restaurant, Starbucks Reserve, Tesla, and dessert options such as Sugarfina and Sprinkles. Located at Plano/Frisco border.
5905 Legacy Dr, Plano
Historic Downtown McKinney
It's pretty difficult to maintain a healthy weight with all the great restaurants here. Favorite breakfast and coffee spots, high-quality burger
joints and sandwiches, a trusted steakhouse, winery, and ice cream shop. This family-friendly spot hosts numerous free events and is also the spot
to go for performances at the MPAC, live music in the evenings, comedy, beer tastings, and art.
111 N Tennessee St, McKinney
Historic Downtown Plano
Otherwise known as the Arts District, this family-friendly location not only is home to a variety of restaurants, it also hosts some serious
nightlife, playhouses, hands-on art experiences, and numerous events (mostly free) from live music to movies in the park.
1037 E 15th St, Plano
The Shops at Legacy, Plano
This center has been around a little longer than the others, but it is still a beautiful and fun location to visit. Over 30 restaurants are
available including many locals' favorites. This center is geared more to adults as even the cinema is devoted to independent and specialty films.
5741 Legacy Dr, Plano
The Star in Frisco Entertainment District, Frisco
Another very family-friendly hangout with over 20 restaurants and an ice cream shop. The draw for kids will be the outdoor Tostitos Championship
Plaza, a Dallas Cowboys 50-yard replica turf field on which they're invited to play.
9 Cowboys Way, Frisco
Watters Creek, Allen

Main Event, Frisco & Plano
Play a game of laser tag! You'll have so much fun hiding and shooting at one another!
If a chef-inspired menu featuring local and regional cuisine and a full bar may not seem like a good idea before the high ropes course or LED rock
climbing wall, it does pair well with bumper cars, bowling and a laser maze.
635 N Central Expy, Allen
6205 Dallas Pkwy, Plano
For a special date of fun, head to the Rose Room, a boutique private bowling area with food and beverage service. Or, let yourself have some real
