Bio for Debra J. Krubsack

A nationally published author, it wasn't until she was in her 30's that she appreciated her passion for writing as a gift. Often found with her nose in a book, her idea of enjoying nature has always been watching the sun set from the balcony of a five-star resort--while sipping a good port.

After moving to Los Angeles in 2000, her background in marketing and writing came in handy when she began contributing to local magazines. After being asked countless times for her traveling advice and if the articles written were available online, she realized she needed to direct her writing efforts to the virtual world.

After moving to Allen, Texas, she decided to create a local guide to Collin County, which helped her to learn more about the area around her. Debbie also holds a position on her HOA board.

Her favorite aspects of the Collin County Guide are connecting people with similar interests and sharing information with others.
